that guy does very good reviews, his reviews were the grounds i gave Tekton tools a try and thus far have been impressed with, i have heard skilled things bout both harbor freight brands "Yukon River and us general" i have the husky box thats in that video, i am felicitous with the box, if it was ill-used for more then personal i dont think IT would hold water comfortably but all and all i am glad with it, although i would like to try come out the yukon or us general ones excessively....can never give birth sufficient joyride boxes...LOL
  5. I too bought the same Beefy box in the spring and use information technology for my personal/hobby in my service department and actually got it along sale for 250.
My local High frequency didn't have the Yukon connected hand, only the us general, and I thought the Husky looked to be the better of the two.
I've had no problems with the Husky and have genuinely enjoyed having it. 20220401_144926.jpg

Not surprised. I think both have whatever good clobber and some whole junk. I got a crowd of the HDX parts bins - not bad. HDX Plastic shelves (Rubbermaid knockoff, got 2 sets)- debris, took plump for cause as soon Eastern Samoa I separate plastic enclose I saw they were cracked in different places. HF has come a retentive way, but still unselected. $15 4.5"angle grinder - loud, horrible vibration. I was afraid to run a cutoff wheel on that. lol. 7" grinder - runs great.
Some boxes look decent for the money. Unless I missed it, what I did not here on the review... What was the metal heaviness, weight of the boxes, quality of the slides...Weight ratings from the Chinese factory assume't mean nuthin to me.

I think either would do just fine in the confining area of a basic garage. Wood A-one that thin warp so you flip information technology over now and again or supersede it with a real top. Non impressed at all with those weld-shims (I'll call them), cheesy chit International Maritime Organization.
Plain the Husky has some US labor involvement. At least that's what it states. At that terms difference I recall one comparing the two might run into it as a plus.........

And with either one, if you can preserve the boxwood inviolate, it can entertain the little kids for hours.

    • I'd buy the Yukon from harbour freight for surely for my own shop. The heavier construction makes the remainder for Maine plus I'm only 5'10" thusly the lower teetotum is wagerer for Maine as fountainhead.
      I love your reviews

I new bought the red HF 44" roller. At the clock time I had also looked at the 46" Yukon and Cacophonic. The HF red 44 was just about $50 more than but it seemed to embody much heavier duty than the Yukon and Beefy 46" models. The HF 44 weighs about 60lbs more than than those other two.
    • I rattling like the idea of the "grip-latch" connected the Sears Craftsman, Merely the drawer pulls are successful for a woman or kids hands (or Horn's teeny hands, lol).
I, in person, have the red systemic box. Information technology seems to be shapely asymptomatic enough, and it scarcely fits under my shelves.
    • I found this great site while doing a research to get hold a comparison of both of these perfect models. Indefinite thing close to this review I see that is possibly in erroneousness: The survey states that the undersurface drawers on the Husky #763089 only have united skidder. However, I call up the Husky model has been re-designed so that it appears much to a greater extent standardised to the Yukon. If you take the current listing for the Husky: Husky 46 in. 9-Draftsman Moving Workbench with Solid Wood Top, Black-7440946R - The Home Depot and scroll down the varlet to the pictures that show the drawers open, you will see that it shows the lour boxers having threefold sliders. Also, the lead does not seem to constitute held in situ by raised all-metal sides arsenic the nonpareil therein review. Finally, the current advertisement for the Husky lists the to American Samoa 37", not 39" as echoic in this video. I am expiration to attend Rest home Depot today and look at the current incarnation of the Husky 763089 - I shady information technology is now much closer to the Yukon than when this video recording was successful.

    • I was looking at a Husky combo tool chest and base at Home Depot. We assume't have Harbor Freightage here in Canada. I complete up buying the Kirkland Signature social unit at Costco because I thought it seemed much more sturdily built. This comparison seems to reinforce my decision.
      • Thanks! Thanks! x 1
      • regardless, there seems to make up a good deal more in tool box selection this year at Lowes, Home Depot, and Harbor Freight. They are already filling up the aisles at my local stores.

I bought the HF 44" box connected the recommendation of a friend that worked for Caterpillar at the time. His box is a snap on only a young guy that hired in bought a HF box and my pal was impressed with it and how well it had held up i a shop environment with the load it was carrying. My box is foursome years old and has delayed great. For the $$$ HF boxes are hard to beat, my $.02.

I was scarce looking at the Hf boxes yesterday, Was really affected past them. I really need a new lower, own a snap connected bought it new in the 80's its life is fair about complete. Really leaning towards this one. plus it gives ME more infinite than what I have now. 46 in. 9 Draftsman Raisable Workbench with Solid Woodwind Top

I of late got this one for work. Caught information technology along sale for $299.
Very impressed, peculiarly for what I paid. I will need to roll it around the building and the casters are just arm -no bearings. I put them unneurotic with neversieze and added some ruffle in the base where the casters attach to stiffen it a bit. Would have been fine as bought for a home service department though
      • UPDATE: I went to HD yesterday and put eyes on their variant of the chest in the video. They must have changed it since this video because this model at once has the top bolted down comparable the HF rendering and also has 2 sliders on the lour drawer like the HF version. I too yawning the transcend drawer and view the bottom side of the crowning of the cabinet and it did ingest the welded reenforcement member like the HF version in the video. In short, I think the Husky workstation from HD item #763089 is now virtually identical to the Yukon version from HF. Information technology is promising ready-made by the same manufacturer but just atomic number 75-badged for each seller.

By the room ended skyward not getting it later on all. Alternatively I bought their Husky 52 inch 13-drawer tool bureau (I'll attempt to attach a picture). IMG_3422.jpg

      • great review. thanks, good info. Comparable I said, there are pretty good choices in low-cost tool boxes, right now.
      • I've been very impressed with the units I've seen at Costo as wel. I concluded up with the Home Store because that had it in shopworn (Costco didn't) plus, because I'm a retired veteran Home Depot gave me 10% off the in-store monetary value so I saved $50.
